Learn About Royal Academy

Why Did We Create Royal Academy?

As the founders of Royal Academy, Kelly and Enoch Golding have said to themselves many times over the years - "We wish we would have learned about that when we were a lot younger."  Life skills such as mindfulness, positive self-talk, gratitude, empathy, healthy nutritional choices, overcoming fear, meditation, and feeling connected to others and to the world, are examples of things that most people would agree can help us feel more fulfilled and happy in life. We don't need to wait until we are adults to learn these things and what is really important in life and how we should view ourselves and the world around us in order to be truly happy.  We feel that we can start teaching our children at a young age so they will have a head start on finding inner peace and bringing more joy into the world. This is our mission and our reason for creating Royal Academy.

What Values Do We Teach Students?

Every one to two weeks, we introduce one of our 26 values to the students. These values will serve them inside school and out. Among other values, we teach them to understand and know that they are:
  • Loved
  • Mindful
  • Connected
  • Kind
  • Happy
  • Grateful
  • Creative
  • Healthy
  • Responsible
  • Honest
  • Brave
  • Amazing

Why Choose Royal Academy?

The preschool years are important for the formation of values. Children are naturally intuitive and often pick up on things that we wouldn't always expect. We understand that, so we have tailored our lessons to cater to the natural curiosity of children. The values they learn with us will last them a lifetime.
